Miami-based commercial photographer George Kamper will be the guest speaker at the Tuesday, October 6 meeting. His presentation will showcase his most recent works.
George has presented to the CCB in 2024 and 2025 and his photography is outstanding. John Buck and George worked together when both lived in Rochester. George is a multi-award-winning photographer and director whose diverse skill set leads to equally diverse commissions and personal projects. His work has garnered numerous prestigious awards including several first place Addy awards for his film commercial directing, American Photography Awards, International Photography Awards, Communication Arts Photo Annual and APA and ASMP professional recognition.
George takes on every project with a fresh perspective, deep curiosity and a willingness to test and explore. Often nicknamed “Batman” on set due to his extraordinary skillset and problemsolving capabilities, George is continually experimenting with new approaches to solving technical and conceptual challengesIn his free time, split between New York and Miami, George enjoys scuba diving and boating with his wife Sherryl, and their children Nicholas and Alexandra.
