    A self-critique of your photos can go a long way to improving your photographic eye and photography skills. The Florida Camera Club Council uses specific judging criteria for their routine competitions. Join our discussion on Zoom to learn about how you might use the FCCC criteria to critique your own photos. You can find links to our Zoom session in your regular CCB email update.

  • 2025 LOCATION PORTRAIT SESSION with John Buck

    April 5, 2025  9:00 am - 12:00 pm
    Fort Christmas Historical Park, 1300 N Fort Christmas Rd, Christmas, FL 32709, USA

    John Buck will conduct a location portrait workshop at Fort Christmas (Time and Date may be changed due to model schedules). In this workshop you will learn how to assess existing light, make correct exposure controls, make use of posing techniques and gain subject trust. There will be at least 3 college-aged models to work with. John learned these valuable techniques as a lifestyle and travel photographer for Eastman Kodak and his portrait workshops are very popular.
    Requirements: A minimum of 10 attendees for the fee of $30 each (for model fees), smartphone and/or DSLR, 70mm to 200mm lenses, no tripod, extra battery, hat, water.
