Golden & Blue

Well, the days are getting shorter… have been since 21 June.  Hardly noticeable, though.  The days are getting hotter and more humid too, though.

So we as photographers can plan better for those Blue Hour and Golden Hour photoshoots… but watch that humidity!

We have a photoshoot walkabout this Saturday, July 11th in Cocoa Village.  This always provides a great opportunity to capture some unique scenes, and people as they mix around.  We will meet at 6:30PM in Myrt Tharpe Square.  That’s that park-like square along Brevard Ave.  This will be a golden opportunity to capture that “Portrait of a Stranger” for the September meeting.  We can share techniques on capturing those interesting shots of people just doing their thing, or actually posing for you.  Remember, the September competition will be PRINTS . . . so think about composition, background, etc as you stroll around Cocoa Village capturing random people and scenes.

Lastly, this is a reminder that there will be no formal CCB meeting in August.  We will have a photoshoot at Elliott Museum and House of Refuge on 1 Aug though, so keep that in mind.

See you all Tuesday, 7 July!
