Have you attended any of our field trips? Each calendar year we schedule a series of gatherings at unique Brevard and other regional venues. It’s a great opportunity to get out there and shoot and discover more about your photography from experienced photographers.
Jake
Jake Anderson is our Field Trip Director and he has put together an exciting field trip schedule for 2025. Naturally, this schedule can change due to weather and other unforeseeable issues. Be sure to check out details on our website and in our newsletter and email updates. Coming up are trips to the Fellsmere rodeo, Morikami Gardens, Cape Canaveral lighthouse, Cocoa Beach Air Show and more. CCB member Pam Lindenberger has helped Jake with ideas and we thank both Jake and Pam for their time and efforts.
Field trips are generally organized in the following manner:
The field trip details are published
- Interested members let Jake know arrival plans
- A group photo is taken at a designated spot, usually the front entrance
- Attendees form groups or work singly to capture images
- Two to three hours is usually sufficient to shoot.
- Lunch is optional
- Photos should be saved in a desktop folder for submission at our annual field trip review meeting
Quality Time
In addition to learning better photography, one of the great benefits of field trips is spending time with your fellow club members. On our field trips we share our photos and skills and quite often a lunch together is offered. The friendships made on these field trips make your CCB membership much more meaningful and special. Ours is an especially social club and our regular monthly meetings don’t always give us enough time to socialize.
