Welcome to the Camera Club of Brevard!
The Camera Club of Brevard was founded in 1980 by a group of local photographers. The Club strives to explore many opportunities to further our members’ photographic education and skills. Today, the Camera Club of Brevard has over 150 dedicated members. Our members seek to enhance their photographic knowledge and skills but we also like to have lots of fun along the way!
The Club presents monthly programs for members with topics ranging from techniques, composition, lighting, to history and presentation. We also promote photographic competitions encouraging all members to learn and grow their photographic skills. Competitions are held monthly and at the end of each calendar year. Experienced photographers and program speakers judge each of these competitions.
Photographic field trips to local attractions such as parks, historical sites, wildlife preserves, sporting events, gardens, and community activities, etc. are held periodically throughout the year. At these events, photographers enjoy the fellowship, share their knowledge and skills, and learn new techniques in their pursuit to advance their artistic style and compositions.
Above all, the Camera Club of Brevard wants all its members, whether beginner or more advanced, to have fun and enjoy taking photographs.
We welcome friends and guests to join us at our meetings and other activities.
