Beth Reynolds, the Director of Photography at the Morean Art Center in  St. Petersburg is the Camera Club of Brevard’s April program presenter.  The topic of Beth’s program is titled “Seeing the Light”.  What a great subject for a program.  Afterall, photographers photograph light.  What is good light?  How does light effect your mood?  What does the color of light mean?  There sure is a lot of information to learn about light.  You’ll have to attend the club’s April program meeting to “See the Light”.
Beth earned a Master’s in Fine Arts in Photography from the University of Hartford and has been a photographer-educator for nearly 30 years. Her expertise includes documentary, fine art and portraiture photography. She teaches all levels of photography and has extensive experience leading travel-photo adventure tour groups.
Reynolds’ work is included in the Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota and in multiple collections on the U.S. east coast. In 2019, Beth Received the first Jim Rolston Memorial Professional Development Grant through the St Petersburg Arts Alliance to attend the prestigious John Paul Caponigro Master Artist Workshop held in Maine.  What an achievement!
